Bernardino "Deno" Ciuffetelli, 67, of Kennett Square, died on Nov. 17 at
Chester County Hospital in West Chester after a long illness.
He was the husband of Edith Radziviliuk Ciuffetelli.
Born in L'Aquila, Italy, he was the son of the late Agostino and Carmina Iorio Ciuffetelli.
Mr. Ciuffetelli was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Merchant Marines.
He retired in 1985 from the Steamfitters Local Union No. 420 of Philadelphia
after working for over 35 years.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Kennett Square.
He was a member of the Italian American Citizens League and the Chesapeake Bay
Foundation.
Mr. Ciuffetelli was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Deborah A. Murphy and
Kathleen C. Grier, both of Newark and Barbara J. Ciuffetelli of Landenberg; four
sons, Stephen M. Ciuffetelli of the Marshall Islands, Andrew J. Ciuffetelli of
West Grove, Bernard J. Ciuffetelli of Kennett Square and Edward D. Ciuffetelli
of West Chester; and four grand-daughters.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred Ciuffetelli and Louis
Ciuffetelli, and a sister, Helen B. Muscarella.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Nov. 21 at 11 am in St. Patrick's
Church, Kennett Square.
Interment was private.
